Who Are We?

Mark Baba Holdings Sdn Bhd is a Holdings Company based in East Malaysia, which aims to digitalize Urban and Rural villages through a Smart Village Concept encored with the concept of Digitalisation.

Mark Baba Holdings has its first Hub in Penampang, Sabah at Ramayah Village which caters to various services and products through its other Subsidiary Companies.

Mark Baba Holdings adalah sebuah syarikat yang berpengkalan di Sabah dengan matlamat untuk membawa arus digital kepada kawasan luar bandar dan pedalaman melalui konsep Kampung Pintar Digital dengan berasaskan kepada Teknologi Data yang mempunyai  potensi untuk mengubah cara hidup kearah pemodenan. Mark Baba Holdings juga menawarkan berbagai produk dan perkhidmatan melalui anak-anak syarikat dengan satu inspirasi untuk membawa arus pemodenan digital dalam kalangan rakyat Sabah.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to establish a Digital Village in the whole of Sabah & Sarawak which is set to improve the annual income of Villagers via E-Commerce, Digital Assets Technology and Job opportunities. It is also our vision to co-produce and develop products with the aim of worldwide export.

WITH BELIEF AND ACTION, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE
The first value embrace an attitude of persistence. There is nothing impossible in Mark Baba Holdings. The chant of

"Kalau tidak boleh, macammana yang boleh, kita kasi boleh!"

is deeply rooted within MBH business virtue and customer relations. MBH believes in possibility and sees Impossibility as an opportunity. It is always impossible, until someone has done it. Hence, there is nothing impossible until it is done.
IF NOT NOW WHEN? IF NOT ME, WHO?
The Second Value embrace the attitude of being Independent. In MBH, we value initiative and creative ideas.

"Kalau bukan saya siapa lagi, kalau bukan hari ini bila lagi?"

is one of the important aspects of MBH Value. Such value is set to embrace an attitude of being initiative, independence as well as being creative and critical in thinking of any possible solutions to every challenge and problem that may come in a way.
TODAY’S BEST PERFORMANCE IS TOMORROW BASELINES
The third value reminds us of consistency. As much as victory needed to be celebrated, we would always put a gentle reminder to our-selve that it is yet to be over. There is still a long journey ahead and the destination is far from visible. Hence, the glory of yesterday is just temporary. It is our aim to always be better than yesterday and tomorrow will be better than today. As for the team, it is all about pushing to the limit in discovering hidden potential.

The fourth value teaches us about Opportunity. Problems and Challenges are part of the journey. What motivates us is to solve those problems and embrace the attitude that every problem is an opportunity to learn. Our Team believes that the moment when you are trying to run from the problem, is the moment when you refuse to grow.
THE EASIEST DAY WAS YESTERDAY
The fifth value is about growth. No doubt, it's getting tougher and tougher! Hence, we are mentally and physically ready to expect the bigger challenge ahead. Hence the chant of

Our Founder

Mark Baba Holdings Sdn Bhd is founded by Aaron Mark Pius, who is a Lawyer by training. Mark Baba Holdings has its name and was inspired from his precious 10 Days at Alibaba Business School, Xixi Campus Hang Zhou China. He was among 50 selected Malaysian SME’s Entrepreneurs to undergo 10 Days Training in Alibaba Business School.

Soon after he returned from China, he then set up Mark Baba Holdings to carry forward the mission of Tao Bao Village, which is the backbone of its inspiration, carries the vision to Digitalize Village in Sabah.

Mark Baba Holdings diasaskan oleh Aaron Mark Pius yang mana juga adalah seorang peguam yang didaftaraikan di Mahkhamah Tinggi Malaya. Pembentukan Mark Baba Holdings adalah sangat berkait rapat dengan syarikat Alibaba di China. Mark adalah antara 50 usahawan yang terpilih untuk menyertai program Alibaba Netprenuer di Hang Zhou China, iaitu juga ibu pejabat Alibaba hasil kerjasama Kerajaan Malaysia dan Alibaba. Setelah kembali ke tanah air, Mark membawa misi Alibaba iaitu Taobao Village untuk diketengahkan di Sabah, dan destinasi pertama adalah Penampang.

On-Going Workshops for Village Entrepreneurs


We Partnered with Local Social Enterprise to Conduct Training for Villagers in respect of various soft-skills such as Social Media Marketing, E-Commerce and other related fields.

E-Commerce Market for Local with International Coverage


We market Locally produced products both via Brick & Mortar (Physical Shop) and Online Market which aims to earn its visibility not only locally, but also internationally. Through Mark Baba Cultural Shop, all products displayed are authentic local produced, which aims to garner internationally visibility through our website.

Co-Production for Local Products and Co-Development for Eco-Tourism


We partner with Locals to realize their dream of having their own products by providing basic infrastructure in their journey of production. We partner with Locals Land Owner or Business Owner to develop a point of interest around the village, which enables international visits.

Cashless Society


We believe that Cashless is the first step and certainly the way forward to achieve the Status of a Smart and Digital Village. Therefore, all our products and services will be in support of a cashless payment method.

Pick Up and Drop Off Point (PUDU) & Fulfilment Centre


We partner with Parcel365 and various Courier Services to establish PUDU points that enable villagers to receive and deliver their products, which aims to solve the logistic issues and challenges faced by the community in respect of E-Commerce Business. With Smart E-Commerce Locker, we made it easier for the locals to tap into E-Commerce Business.
