Construction Period Year 2019 – 2020
In December 2019, Mark Baba Holdings held a few meetings with Committees for Koperasi Kituau Ramayah with regards to the proposal of setting up PUDO Hub in Penampang. The main purpose of the HUB is to assist and help communities in Penampang to tap into the E-Commerce Business, modelling Alibaba Taobao Village in China. Construction of the Hub began as early as December 2019 before it was halted due to a pandemic in March 2020.
We are happy to announce that the construction has been 80% completed despite restrictions and challenges faced especially due to strict SOP’s.
Alibaba Netpreneur Program
It was modeled after Taobao Village in China and it set foot at Penampang Sabah in 2019. Aaron Mark was among 50 Malaysian entrepreneurs selected for the Alibaba Netpreneur Program Batch 4 at Xixi Campus, Hang Zhou China. Mark has been all around the world for business purposes acting as Legal Consultant and Managing Directors for a few companies which has brought him to Taiwan, Singapore, vietnam as well as China.
Alibaba Netpreneur program is a joint effort between Malaysian Government MDEC and Alibaba Business School which aims to create more leading enablers in Malaysia. It was a 10 days program in Hang Zhou China where participants were given opportunity to explore and understand the bigger picture of Alibaba.
